Biography of Patrizia Gu
Patrizia Gucci, great granddaughter of Guccio Gucci, the founder of the famous fashion imperium,
and daughter of Paolo Gucci, represents the 4th. generation of the well-known family in Florence,
Italy. She worked for 12 years in the Gucci family company, she started her carrier as PR
International for the family business to represent the family, taking care of the brand image, also
working as a designer for the company. In the meantime, she revealed herself more and more
multi- talent.
After she left the company in 1992, in 1996 she started her own business as an independent
international designer, designing a collection of leather furniture. Subsequently, she created her
own brand of fashion accessories in Japan and a line of equestrian clothing for an American firm,
as well as becoming an interior decorator starting to decorate her own house published in Interior
Magazine. In 2005, she was invited to the Institute of European Designs of S. Paolo in Brazil to
show her collection of ceramic mosaic tiles and discuss her talent of designer, in many fields such
as jewelry, bedding, Porcelain, Eye wears, Dress, and so on.
Also, she decorated the wellness area of the Four Seasons Hotel’s Presidential Suite in Istanbul,
with her designs of mosaics.
She went on collaborate with Italian television Mediaset and Rai. She devotes herself also
successfully to painting. She started their profession as a painter, and made her solo exhibitions in
Bahrain, Florence, Vienna, Budapest, and now she is also establishing her name in the Artwork as
famous painter.
During her activity she became chronist in Italian Magazine “Donna Moderna” and she became journalist in 2005. She is also the author of five books, “Il piccolo libro della Semplicità” Mondadori, Single“ ,”Il fascino della donna libera”, “Charme”, translated in many foreign countries such as Japan, Korea, Russia, Portugal, Brazil, Turkey, Hungary, Romania. In 2013, she wrote “Benvenuti a casa vostra” Lindau Editor, and in 2015 “Gucci La vera storia di una dinastia di successo” Mondadori, translated until now in China, Poland, Serbia, and it is coming in Russia, and English
Patrizia Gucci is a multitalented and outstanding creative person from Italy, a country, which has a very fine, cultural tradition.
Today, Patrizia Gucci works as Interior Design, Fashion Design and painter/artist in Italy and abroad.
She studied 3 years at “Istituto d’Arte Porta Romana” in Florence, graduated in Fashion Designer. She spent 5 years to the “Istituto d’Arte Ginette Martenot” of Florence.
She designed the entire packaging for a Swedish cosmetic company, Idun, as well as a porcelain collection for a very famous Hungarian porcelain Compan, Zsolnay.
In 2005, she designed a line of fashion beachwear for French company
Currently, she is also designing a line of fashion tights in Poland, for an international company, Marilyn.
She is very well involved in designing mosaics from a little Italian craftsman.
The Opera Gallery in Budapest is specialized to promote international contemporary artists. The
Europa Authentica Research Group, whose staff members are highly qualified within the contemporary art world, operates the gallery. The group has organized many big-scale exhibitions with international artists from all over the world. These exhibitions aim to show the diversity and richness of the different nations and cultures and aim to give visitors to the Opera Gallery the opportunity to become familiar with contemporary art from different countries.
After reviewing the artworks of Patrizia Gucci the members of the Europa Authentica invited her to Budapest to show her painting talent for the Hungarian audience and art lovers.
The opinion of the group is that her contemporary landscapes combining elements of abstraction and reality in a very charming and elegant way.
She gives the viewer the proper picture of a serene, idyllic and exceptional countryside rendered in the form of olive trees, old villas, farms, Tuscany buildings and roads lined with cypress trees.
The use of refined colors is making the visual aesthetic experience even higher and stimulates the intuitive senses of the viewer.
In 2009, in the American magazine “Interiors” published, her home in Florence for her taste and sophisticated style.
In 2014, she received an award for success, passion and professionality from Revival of Polish Entrepreneurship in Lodz (Poland) personally deliver from Nobel Peace Prize Lech Walesa.
Patrizia Gucci is a member and an ambassador of the Foundation NON-VIOLENCE ART PROJECT for peace & against violence in the world for which she designs a sculpture that brings the name of their logo “Knotted Gun”. The logo of Knotted Gun was made from, Yoko Ono after the murder of her husband John Lennon.
