"Oggi Gucci è una multinazionale, ma con noi
non c'entra più nulla. L'ultima volta che sono
entrata nel negozio, in incognito, nessuno mi
ha riconosciuta, e la ferita nel mio cuore si è

riaperta. Per questo voglio raccontare

mia famiglia...
Sono orgogliosa di essere una Gucci, di aver
ereditato un patrimonio, qualunque esso sia,
umano, di carattere, di stile e creatività e voglio
che la memoria di quella grande storia resti

bisnonno Guccio alla storia d'amore dei genitori
Paolo e Yvonne, ai lunghi anni di lavoro
a Firenze e all'estero, Patrizia Gucci ripercorre
lungo il fio della memoria la storia di

una delle dinastie di maggior successo
dell'imprenditoria italiana. Ricordi personali
e riflssioni si affincano al racconto della
nascita dell'azienda e della creazione dei
modelli divenuti poi oggetti di culto in tutto
il mondo. Non mancano i momenti dolorosi,
come i diffiili rapporti con il padre Paolo o la
tragica scomparsa del cugino Maurizio, e infie
i contrasti tra i fratelli e tra padri e fili che
porteranno alla vendita dell'azienda.
